Let us move your vehicle to Cabos & Baja from USA & Canada, or back north.
I've been told I have the best plan, prices, efficiency and comfort and this is why they choose me.
1- You fly!
You don't fly and leave it up to me to help do several things do the drive?
2- I'll drive your vehicle to Cabos or Baja areas, or take the vehicles back north, too.
3- I can bring your pet(s). I've made the crossing & drive many times w/my Goldens & other peoples' dogs. They're in good hands with me!
4- Most of the way is 2 lane "Highway 1". There almost NO 4 lane highways for the 1000 mile drive.
5- Since 2002 I've been driving the Baja. I've made the trip 100+ times?? I don't know honestly. It's just a normal drive for me.
6- I'm a mid-western farm boy that's been driving since 7 years old. Drove semi-trucks / grain trucks pulling grain pups, loaded with over 100,000 pounds of grain at 15 years old.
7- I am mechanical and operate on the principle using common sense and taking care of things!
8- You have the vehicle serviced, good tires, licensed/registered, insured with Mexican Auto insurance, and I drive!
9- You pay my daily fee and basic expenses.
10- I'll do an accurate estimate based on miles, mileage, vehicle info, etc...
11- I've even met people at San Diego & Phoenix airports previously, get possession of their vehicle at the airport & they've flown to Cabo, I drove their vehicle.
12- Good spare tire(s), a better jack than standard equipment is nice, medium to larger sized quality cooler is nice, working power ports for MY GPS, Sirius radio and charging ports for phone a must, etc...
It's all very easy and basic. Vehicles with trailer is OK however the contents, access, organization a must and also anything I'm bringing down must be clearly identified, valued and LEGAL! Crossing the border (Aduana/Mexican taxing authorities), 5 military check points that I know of (temporary/surprise check points can be encountered), stretches of over 100 miles in desolate areas have ZERO services. While I can enjoy the drive others don't like the deserted stretches, animals on road, majority of miles of narrow 2 lane road, switchback turns in the hills and descents, in the desert, many miles with no road berms along many areas, and steep hillsides to drive along. There's many miles of 2 lane road with no passing unless you know the roads like I do and and where I can get around the Mexican drivers, semi trucks carrying everything to Baja, etc..., safely. It's another things that tests driver's patience.
I look forward to your call or contacting me about driving your vehicle either direction.
I can not give you an accurate estimate without specific details so please don't ask and expect as I'm going to need to know address to/from, several details about vehicle, figure miles, mileage, fuel prices, etc...
